I have been connected to the world of sports since was a child, especially football, played until was 19, then I decided to dedicate myself fully to studies, but I carry with me valuable lessons from this universe moved between emotion and reason, on a fine line that can determine success or failure, where looking ahead and projecting goals is fundamental for survival, however understanding the past, understanding weaknesses and correcting mistakes are essential to avoid a disaster, losing a battle is not losing the war, titles and achievements drive and keep teams motivated and committed, remembering the past is important and comforting, but it doesn't win championships, and ultimately teams are made up of people, and winning teams have the right people in the right places competing according to the rules.
I have been working with mining since 2010, I had the opportunity to work in several different sectors and minerals, vermiculite, phosphate, gold and copper, enriching my personal, technical and professional knowledge, I worked directly with mineral research, chemical and physical laboratories, in mineral processing, drilling and dismantling, operations and infrastructure, geosciences, dispatch, topography and the entire mine planning chain (short, medium and long term), which brought versatility and flexibility in decision making, and critical thinking in all processes that lead to the final result, within these sectors I worked with multidisciplinary teams on projects ranging from the technical area aimed at reducing costs and increasing productivity, where I was able to obtain results that combined reduced more than 100 M$ USD, opening new mines and closing others, in an ESG project with development of projects to close mines, partnership in projects with the community and creation of internal governance; I developed diverse teams wherever I went, promoting integration of gender, age and race, with more than 10 different nationalities from all continents.
I like challenges and how they develop us, I'm not successful in seeking help when necessary, I'm good at communicating and work well at all levels, I adapt quickly to new scenarios, assimilating and contributing efficiently, I stay focused on results, I always evaluate new things ideas, I encourage interaction and development of the teams I'm part of, I don't stay in the comfort zone, I challenge myself, I establish continuous improvement as essential, anticipating problems is better than receiving negative news.
