Honduran and Nicaraguan lawyer with over two years of experience serving as Legal Counsel to the Secretary of Infrastructure and Transportation, focusing on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) related to major infrastructure projects in Honduras valued at over $500 million. These projects have been developed in cooperation with multinational entities such as the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE) and the World Bank.
Additionally, I have had the opportunity to advise the Office of the Attorney General in the design of legal strategies for international arbitrations before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). This role has enabled me to gain extensive experience in managing large-scale investment disputes, particularly those involving complex commercial infrastructure projects. My work has encompassed not only the legal oversight of such projects but also the coordination of strategies to ensure their success and long-term sustainability.
Currently, I am an associate at Alvarado y Díaz, specializing in business, tax, and administrative law.
